Hanita Coatings is a market leader in the development and production of high-barrier flexible laminates, featuring record-breaking levels of barrier for vacuum-metallized films. Established in 1983 as a private company owned by Kibbutz Hanita, the company is situated in the Western Galilee of Israel, and employs ~200 People.

Hanita specializes in the roll-to-roll development and conversion of coated, laminated and metallized films for a range of industrial and commercial applications. Products include ultra-high barrier laminates to significantly enhance the functionality; longevity; and thermal and mechanical performance of vacuum insulation panels; solar control and security window films; label face films, and copper laminates for flexible and standard electronics.

The company is highly R&D-oriented, and characterized by the ability to quickly meet both small and large scale development challenges for tailor-made products. Hanita is currently participating in nine large national and European R&D projects.
